Delete your Maal account

You can delete your Noor Labs account and its data yourself, any time. You must be signed in.

In the Maal app

  1. Open Maal and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
  3. Re-enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

On the web dashboard

  1. Sign in at dashboard.noorlabs.io/account.
  2. In the Danger zone section, choose Delete account.
  3. Re-enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

What is deleted

  • Your Noor Labs account (sign-in and profile).
  • All data synced to our servers: accounts, transactions, budgets, savings goals, Zakat and hawl records, net-worth history and your encryption keys.
  • Your linked bank connections, which we revoke with Plaid.
  • The Maal data stored on the device or browser you delete from.

Deletion is immediate on our servers and cannot be undone. Your data is deleted from backups within 7 days. Donations or subscriptions made through Stripe are separate and are not removed automatically; email hello@noorlabs.io to have those handled. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

Can't sign in?

Email hello@noorlabs.io from your account's email address to request deletion. We verify the request against the account's email before deleting anything.
